The new look, thanks for your support and a prayer

Hi Molly, it's Peggy. At least it is if I hit the right buttons on this evil computer and I'm really e-mailing and not just in over my mechanical head.

I actually found our site! I'm sooo excited! The logo looked great on paper, but in cyberspace, or whatever this is, it looks G-R-E-A-T! You get seven million points (& that's not enough) for not losing patience with us as we tried to get what we wanted. Just think, all the time that sweet little house with the heart inside was in your head! I'm not sure if this message goes out to everybody once I punch "send" but in case it doesn't can you patch me into them and post this?

I wanted to thank everyone again for all the prayers and sweet messages and cards from our tape-of-the-month subscribers that came after Mom passed away. It'll be a month tomorrow. Pam and I feel so close to all of you it's almost unexplainable.

I was reading some of your "chats" and I can see how important you are to each other. I get an overall sense that you all try sooo hard to have nice, comfortable homes. I was about to stop working, have some lunch and go back to the G.I.F.T. (God-Imagination-Focus-Thanksgiving) before I get back on the treadmill of earning a living. If you don't mind, I'll share my prayer with you. (If you do mind, I think you can hit "delete" and everything will go away...that's been my experience anyway!)

Dear God, thank you for this beautiful day! Thank you for spring and the end of a long, dark winter.

Thank you for these wonderful women of love and hope and faith. Father give each one of them a spurt of Your energy; guided and directed for God-ness in their homes. You know their hearts, Lord. You know their strengths and their weakness, as you know my own. Help us to help ourselves as we help each other. Show us the way. What power You give us (moment by moment) to do what we must do. What grace You give us to accept what is out of our control. What joy You give us when we stop and thank you for all of our blessings. Open the windows of our dusty minds and let Your freshness fill our thoughts with promise and joy.

Silence the howling winds of winter with the calming breezes of spring. Silence those who would say things that hurt. Stop us from sending our own little stings. Heal us and help us with concerns known only to You.

Thank you, Father. Thank you very much.

OK girls, back to the trenches! I love you.

Love,

Peggy
